The most efficient & safest way to increase the performance of your Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCi 110kw.
We have been developing and testing performance upgrades on the Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCi 110kw since 2012. The plug & play units connecting on the common rail pressure sensors is a complete waste of time and money. If you are lucky you will get 1-5kw more power and the chances are very good that you will have engine lights coming on and the engine going into limp mode.
The only way to add a reasonable amount of power in a safe way at a reasonable price is to have the software upgraded.
Below is the dyno results. This particular Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCi 110kw was 103.2kw & 372nm. After the software upgrade power went up to 130.4kw & 468nm. Total gained 27.2kw & 96nm. Even more power is possible, but we have decided to stop at these figures to keep the engine as reliable as standard.
ECU Remapping / Software Upgrade is the way to go on these engines.
Cost: On special @ R3500 including dyno before and after runs.
